Bonnie Doucette Thornborough
Creative Wellness Coach
Creativity. It’s an awesome wellspring unique to each of us that can offer so much—including relief, insight, guidance, confidence, and positive energy.
Pausing, sensing, and allowing time for our creativity is a natural, healthy process for our well-being that is often undervalued.
Hi, I’m Bonnie Doucette Thornborough. I am a Focusing-certified creativity coach, teacher, designer, and artist who believes in the power of creativity and expressive arts to support health and wellness—for anyone. No art experience required!
In 2026 I am beginning to build this private practice, Art for Time, aimed at supporting and empowering people through their own unique creative expression. I’m offering group workshops and individual sessions, and I’m also open to your creative ideas. We can develop a plan together.
Whoever you are, and wherever you are in life, your creativity has something to offer. It is a natural part of all of us—a curious, playful, imaginative, connecting space that can bring lightness and new perspective to our lives. The practice of Focusing (and FOAT®*) helps us use our creative expression in meaningful ways.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself or someone you love, deep down you may already sense that simply allowing some freedom to get a little creative could help. Learning to use Focusing and creative expression are skills that serve us well throughout our lives.
“Learning to use Focusing and creative expression are skills that serve us well throughout our lives.”
It is worth noting that this practice is not traditional art instruction. There is no expected product, and no judgement or critique. It is an open-ended, inter-modal process infused with warm acceptance, curious noticing, and free expression. I would be honored to provide some guidance and support in your discovery of whatever your creativity wants to express.
This Inuksuk, built with my young kids in honor of the Arctic Indigenous tradition, says “Welcome!”
